Portland will always hold a special place in my heart. Every summer growing up was spent here visiting my Grandparents. This trip was a bittersweet one. My Grandma had suffered from Alzheimer's for the last remaining years of her life and she was very close to passing away. I headed up with my family to try and see her before she passed and say our goodbyes. I'm going to miss picking raspberries from her bushes in her backyard and her sweet hugs and kisses when we came to visit. I love you Grandma, we'll miss you!
